Albany is about 17 minutes from our Ponchatoula shop. Take I-12 west and get off at LA 43. Call (504) 702-1480. We Answer Day or Night.

Albany sits at US 190 and LA 43, with I-12 just to the south. The Little Natalbany River runs along the east side of town and joins the Natalbany a couple of miles southeast. This is farm country with deep roots. Hungarian families settled here starting in 1896, and many of them turned to strawberries in the 1930s. If you live near open fields, your outdoor unit takes in field dust, pollen and plant debris all season. A clogged coil makes the system run longer and work harder. If your house is an older farmhouse that’s been added onto, the new rooms are often the hot ones. The original ducts were never sized for them. We run a load calculation for the whole house, rebalance or add duct runs where they’re needed, and seal the leaks. A ductless mini-split is another option for an addition. Then we clean the coil and clear the drain line.
That’s why we start every Albany visit with a load calculation and moisture readings, then size, seal and drain the system for the house it’s in.
About 17 minutes and 13 miles from our shop on the I-12 service road by way of I-12 and LA 43.

Usually, yes. Additions are often tied into ducts that were never sized for them. We measure the airflow, then fix the duct run or put in a ductless mini-split just for that room.
Twice a year is a good rhythm. Our $15.99 a month plan covers two visits a year, or you can book a one-time $147 Clean & Check.
