Coverage varies. Sudden-cause mold (post-water-loss within the 14-day window) is typically covered. Long-term seepage mold is typically excluded. We document the moisture source, IICRC S520 protocol, and timeline — and work with your carrier on supplement requests.
Do you do the sampling yourselves?
We coordinate with independent AIHA-accredited hygienists for sampling and lab analysis. We DO the remediation against the documented results — we don’t sample and remediate on the same contract, because that’s a conflict of interest in any real-estate, custody, or tenant-landlord dispute.
How long does mold testing and remediation take?
Sampling and lab turnaround is typically 3-5 days. Remediation depends on scope: 3-7 days localized, 14-30 days widespread. We give you a documented timeline at the front end and update it daily.
What’s the warranty?
Our remediation work carries a written 12-month warranty against regrowth in the remediated area — provided the moisture source was correctly identified and fixed. If mold returns from the same moisture pathway within 12 months, we re-engage at no charge.
